I don't know how much this helps, but I was getting pretty deep into Celtic Wicca as a less scary substitute for doing studies in Voudoun or Santeria.
I felt the Celtics were less, maybe, passionate than the Haitians I had run into, afraid of nudity, sex negative, etc., so I eventually became solitary.
But the Afro-Cuban thing seems interesting to me.
