Perhaps you've got this wrong. Perhaps he liked you and wished to awaken you
spiritually.

K often starts with leg symptoms. I feel them sometimes still.

Perhaps she could see you were becoming K awakened.

Maybe sending you energy and eating your ego is more like it??
Maybe the long form of the short story would clarify--but as it stands, I
think what you see as a curse was really a blessing.
I'm beginning to see many of these psychic attacks as the ego trying to
regain contol--the mind trying to "invent" reasons to fight against the
energy rather than accept it.
Just a thought
