Hi Amanda, Ye Yak Herder,
I told this story (I THINK) to the K. Group
before, but when I was 12 and living with my family
in the MidWest, I saw my brother in a High School play:
LOST HORIZON. It's about Tibet, for those of you who
don't know about it.
I remember TO THIS DAY, sitting in the
front row, balcony, with my Father, and having this
overwhelming feeling that I had returned home.
I still feel that way. I LOVE all things
Tibetan. I'm a Tibetan Buddhist Practitioner, sometimes
I think, just so that I'll be around the Tibetan Culture!
(although I do love being a Buddhist).
I had the unique experience to being part
of a ceremony in 1991, officiated by H.H. Dalai Lama.
My life changed from that day onward.
I hope you have the good fortune to meet him/
hear him.
Best,
Adele (who would just LOVE to meet up with a yak!)
