Well, who knows, at the end of the day? Could be one thing, could be

Your impressions are going to be more reliable than other peoples',
perhaps, but remember that things you have no awareness of are part of
your unconscious (in the broadest sense of the term) and many ideas and
observations may be hanging around in your inner recesses whether you
are conscious of them or not.
