I have some familiarity with it, and the concept it hypothosizes, would
suggest you put your time to better use and put the book back where you
found it. It ignores a vast amount of evidence that man was using
conscious, rational, 'self aware' thinking, reasoning, logic and
sequencing processes to make choices, decisions, pretty much the same as
we do today, long, long before speculated in that. The major difference
was the less knowledge, available store of information, about te world
around him than we have today. What man can't explain through knowledge
he has at any time, he tends to attribute to gods, or the supernatural,
magic, etc. Much we know enough about today to be natural phenomenon.
