here are my thoughts of the article about time. These are just thoughts and
not meant to "shatter" anyone else's thoughts.

<<The notion of time as an invisible framework that contains and constrains
the Universe is not unlike the crystal spheres invented centuries ago to
carry the planets. After the spheres had been shattered by Tycho Brahe's
observations, Kepler said: "We must philosophise about these things
differently." Much of modern physics stems from this insight. We need a new
notion of time. >>

We apparently can't sense time with our 5 known-confirmed senses but does
that lack truly disconfirm its existence? A similar argument for psychic
abilities is plausible. It's not possible to project such images on a screen
or through regular testing but does that mean that neither exist?

<<In Platonia, there are no initial conditions>>
Like the saying goes "Theres a first time for everything." In order for you
to be in spot B now you had to be at some spot A before hand and later you
will then migrate to Spot C. The intial points are relational...because
before i was not always at A but for our purposes i started motion at A. For
our purposes the initial point is A. Or if you want to know how long it took
me to get from B to C then the initial point is B...noone cares where I was
at A because it has no bearing on our problem of B to C. We attempt to
compare, describe, relate all kinds of experiences to others in our lives.
In order to compare them we ahve to compare them to something..which would be
the inital point.

I don't necessarily believe that time is absolute. Absolute means that there
is no variation and there is a variation due to the differences in our
experiences. I do think time exists though. Time is the function that
describes a passage between occurances. You can plot relative time, how long
it takes between your established control and when things started to happen.
The measurements of time are what should be under scrutiny. Hours,
minutes,seconds...all of those are human manifestations for the measurement
of time. These are just what we have some basis for understanding. I could
just as easily measure things in MOONS...i went to the grocery 2 moons
ago...or i slept half a moon today....but such intravels wuld become
cumbersome as i tried to describe to you that i went swimming for .34 moon
yesterday. Actually I think the reason we use hours, minutes and seconds
stems from the use of circles and orbits way back in newton's day. They are
just small divisions of a circle (orbit) so we have some concept of when
things are happening. Is it any coincidence that the man who made clocks
made it so the day ends at the same time that the planet ends its revolution
of its axis?

Time exists because we as humans have to have soem way to relate on occurance
to another.
