I agree that mainstream psychology (for want of a better term) seems to
be behind the times. It seems the ancient teachings are being ignored

I am sure the readers of this list will not need to be convinced.

At the same time, mainstream psychology might be appropriate for
mainstream people, whereas people who are consciously developing
Kundalini are in the minority and may need something different.

My feeling is that mainstream psychology might be suitable for people
who need help integrating the various forces of the personality.
Possibly transpersonal psychology is for people who are integrating soul
with personality. Then the ancient teachings, brought up to date, are
for.......... us.
