James (Sarva Mangalam) understood me perfectly well. The maya-doctrine is
the ancient rishi's theory of relativity. In the West, we have delimited
relativity to something *out there*, e.g. the Time-Space relativity in
physics and astronomy.
But our own ego's interpretations - our description of the world - is *maya*
(not illusion, but relative measurements), since it's coloured by our own
belief systems.
Try to look at a sunset when you are in a bad mood and a god mood, and you
will see the difference.
