There are times people are clear about something/anything -- that it is the
better way that brings peace to ourself and the world, and we are no longer
in duality & conflict about the particular subject at hand. BUT, we ARE in
conflict that others are NOT doing their part. We *see* their own hand of
destruction for themselves and/or the world.

This is not a time to be in separation. What we see IS our part of the
puzzle to *peace* together. This would be our purpose at hand to truly make
a difference in the world... to see others as ourself and help them along to
find their own piece of the puzzle.

I remember when I was little, it was normal to throw our car trash out the
window, onto the roads. Everyone did it! We had prisoners to pick up the
trash for us. In fact, in the little town in Georgia I lived in recently,
this was still going on. One day while driving around with my uncle, he
threw a beer can out the window. I said, "Uncle David! That is littering!"
He said, "awwww don't worry. If we don't throw the trash out, the prisoners
won't have anything to do." (true story!) We won't even mention the
drinking and driving going on in that town!

This reminded me so much of how we *do* for others, rather than teach them
the better way.

Did I, at that time, teach my uncle David about the positives of not
littering that day? No. That was NOT the way. HE didn't need my help. He
had the prisoners to do his dirty work. :-)

BUT there was a clue -- a piece of the puzzle -- in that conversation. A
clue that would possibly make a difference in that particular town as a
whole, for the better. I just didn't see it at the time, because I accepted
his ridiculous statement because it was true. Even us smartypants are
ignorant. :-)

Maybe I could have gone to the town council to see about having litter boxes
strewn throughout the county. Maybe it was offering to help keep clean a
mile of the road myself like many do throughout the country... and having the
newspaper put an article in the paper for others to follow. There are many
things I could have done to put an end to the prisoners doing this, and
having us take responsibility for our own actions. I dunno. Too much work
for me? Probably. And it is people like me that will continue to bitch and
moan to people -- one at a time -- that are littering.... trying to *teach*
them the way. If you REALLY look at it, THIS is what is ridiculous because
they have NO need to change.

We must look and teach at where the need, the cause, begins.... not where it
ends, in the effect. When we do this, things will change. If we do our
part. If not, we will continue to teach the *ignorant*... until WE get it.

Yes, I'm sure that is going on. I know it is in my own life. :-)
I also know that the reason for this is because we just don't know what to do
or how to do it. I also know that I don't want an area of my life or the
world to destruct before I do something about it. It seems we think our
only chance for change is to 'end up in the gutter' before we do something
about it. Horrid kundalini awakenings are based on that. And it takes
years to clean up the mess when we try to do it alone.

Where do we start to begin making a difference in the world at large? A
possibility is to look at where the peace is inside of ourself -- what we are
clear on -- and look at where I am still seeing that particular conflict
outside of me. I don't go to the individual(s) I am seeing the conflict,
but I look at what is needed to help not only that person, but many. Look
globally. We ARE global now. Our problem is we think too small.

We are sooo used to looking at our own conflict inside of us, and trying to
clear that in different ways. We finally *make* it, yet it still remains in
others... and so the conflict remains in yet a different form. If we are
one, did we REALLY do anything? I don't think so. We still have yet to do
our part. It is waiting on us.
