Subject: [K-list] Autism as a means of enlightenment

An Australian scientist plans to try and deactivate part of his brain to
see if he can become a super-skilled "savant" as a few autistic people
are. It appears to amount to switching off the internal dialogue -
perhaps he will achieve artificially induced enlightenment!
