Possibly, in the sense of The Fool tarot card (the name depends on the
deck) - the trickster.

Fulfilling our potential seems to me to be what it is all about. To come
here and not do what we can sounds sad to me.

How does one fulfil one's potential? My guess is by following one's own
star.
