Hello Maureen ..

Whilst I recognise that there are Christenings and Baptisms that are now
taking place that are, as you say, I would ask that you read very carefully
the sacraments of the Church of Rome in particular.

I can get a copy of the liturgy for you if you like but it will take time to
copy into the computer.

What we are dealing with (and the possibility I am putting up for
consideration) is an unconscious belief and a memory that is being stored
within the body and has come out within the deep body remembering of the
people I have been working with ..
and symbols and emotions confirming this have been found by some people who
have done an exercise I set on
another list.

Part of the work that I am involved in is looking at the impact of specific
words on the unconscious memory, and the images recalled by the use of these
words.

I am not as you say .... "Christian Bashing" .. why do you react?

As far as I am concerned, I have no problem with the essence of Christianity
... but I do have questions concerning the dogma of many of the Christian
sects as promulgated by many of the clergy ... and this is based on the
memories of these sacraments as recalled by many whom I have worked with.

I am repeating for consideration ... and my post stated

"Please don't take my word for this but read the sacraments of your
childhood church
and particularly, the church of Rome."

  Hello Chris,
  Here we go again with some more Christian bashing.I always thought a
Christening was a Baptism. I perform Baptisms,(not strictly from the
Roman Rite)and have re-read the rite. I see an offering of the soul to
be accepted into the community and the community accepting that
responsibility and a "shoring up" or a better connection between the
Guardian Angel and the soul achieved. Please show me (off list) where
you see "ownership of body/mind/soul? .Thanks for your time.
