Hello,

This reminds me of a thought I had a few days ago.

Since it is the third year I feel very tired, I
wondered if I could find a way to improve that.

So I elaborated on the very time when I felt
exquisitively resting...

That was in the Gouffre Berger (then deepest cave
in the world). I was at the -860 m camp (- 950 yards)
and waiting for further exploration, after the
descent. This was full of pits, meanders (so deep
nobody will find you again if you fall), cascades
and there we were. The camp was on the right side
of the 'big canyon'.

I knew I was here to start further exploration,
but I had to rest first. This was astonishingly
exquisite. Ravishingly coiled in a sleeping bag,
I had hours of sleep ahead. Deep free sleep...

Just pure bestial, primitive sleep.

So now, I just think of the way I slept there, and
my body does it. There is a memory... During the
day, at night, I just think of this feeling. All
around is something huge, and I am in a shelter,
in a tent, in a sleeping bag, just resting...

Why did it take so long for me to recall and
practice that ?
