I guess this would really depend upon your cosmology. I can't say that I
believe gods to know everything. Certainly the stories of their exploits
would bear this out: how could they be tricked if knowing everything? Why
would Odin hang on the world tree to discover the Runes if, knowing
everything, he knew the Runes already?
