There's a very famous saying that I apply to all uses of intent: "The road to
hell is paved with good intentions." Intention is not a vehicle that can be
used to control outcome to any certain degree....all it is is knowing what
you want to happen...it does not mean that the outcome will be anything like
what you *intended*. That's the inherent fault of using intent.
If we're talking control, and true control, will is a safer, easier to clean
up alternative to intentions. Will has more control over the outcome as well
as the vehicle. Perhaps I do not revel in bliss daily, but I do not wish to
do that. To me the divine is not a drug to go to to get high. It is a
friend, a co-worker, an advisor. To relegate the divine to a drug for my own
enjoyment rather than doing the work that is asked of me seems highly
disrespectful, if not downright blasphemous, IMHO. So while I *could*
experience this bliss, I choose not to. Too much to be done to re-balance
mother earth.
