Hi, in my experience,
   the feet and legs are related to the "root" chakra. They are a main
entry-point for energy (also ref. "bubbling springs" in soles of feet ,
felt by chi-kung masters.) The root chakra being the resting place of
Kundalini shakti , it is not unusual for such experiences when your
Kundalini is awakening or just "stirring". My own expereinces included
severe "restless legs", before my feet started to vibrate and become
hot. My personal experiences also seem to tie-in with Taoist chi-kung
ideas of "energy pumps" in various parts of the body viz.
feet -to- perineum(hui-yin) -to-sacral centre( lower don tien)
-to-solarplexus center(middle don tien) -to- back of the head,altor
mayor center, ( upper don tien?) in that sequence , for me anyway.
I have occasionally felt almost overwhwleming bliss as I take a
step and my foot intially touches the ground - this on maybe three or
four separate occassions and lasting for several steps.
