I personally do not practice any form of organized religion. I find it quite
ironic that specific religions which praise themselves on the priniples of
nonjudgement and peace find the need in others' conversion (especially
through violent means). Fairly hypocritical "Don't judge we are all of
God's children but....gay people are bad and they will go to hell." Nope no
judgement there eh? "there is only one God...polytheism (right word? i think
so) is then bad....because WE say so." He loves everyone...but if you doubt
Him you end up in Hell? Sure. I'm sure that there are good intention in
each religion (peace, justification and eternal, unconditional love...what
mortal being wouldn't be pleased to believe that there is a Savor after death
and that when all apparent earthly evil subsides they reside in a Heaven of
sorts?) but religion is based on a specified faith which is then dictated
through the ever-impressionable human mind to other impressionalable minds.

Religion is more based on faith than physicl evidence of a Higher Being's
existance. Noone can say for sure that what they believe is correct or their
spirituality is "the path." Is there really any "proof" other than our
individual beliefs...with the exception of the Bible, Koran et al. which are
books inspired by Higher beings...that means a human wrote what they believed
the Higher Being was teaching. The Higher Being never wrote an instruction
manual for their believers so it can never be said for sure. We can only be
true to ourselves and each other in hopes that everything turns out for the
best..whatever that means in the End anyway.
