You mean the hindu philosophy? Buddhism doesn't teach anything about
"supreme ego". I read somewhere (and also think so myself) that hindus are
right, in a sense, about this thing, but they make it too easy for an
erratic human mind to start clinging to the new "supreme ego" (which one
hasn't even experienced yet), and no real enlightenment can happen with
that mindset. Buddhism does not leave such option. Letting go of all
attachments, at least when philosophizing, is vital.

I agree. Also classical and (credible) modern physics thinks this way.

I don't see the fusion happening. Things that have not been seperated
can't fuse. When the false idea of ego drops/reduces, we just see more
clearly and objectively that we never were seperated.
