The read from a person may depend on which
subpersonality is functioning at the time.

I used to feel people as they went past me all the
time. On a couple of occasions the read of distress
was so great I would turn around and go talk to the
person, even if it was just to hug. But I got taught
not to do this as it gave people who had a vested
interest in getting energy a path right into mine and
that was unhealthy for me.
There are of course people who

I work in a building that has serious sexual offenders
on supervised probation etc. coming and going all the
time. There are very few of these people who make me
feel uncomfortable...I don't understand why. I have
great reason to have fear of them but I don't. On the
other hand, some of the people who work with them
really have unpleasant energy...Interesting.

Yes...isn't it wonderful when this happens.
I thnk deep inside we desire for our

Keeping the hidden pieces of ourselves down takes huge
amounts of energy. Acknowledging and working with the
subpersonalities that represent these pieces of us is
hugely freeing of energy and the peace that follows.
I've identified pieces of myself that I'd stuffed away
and I love some of them. Others still dismay me a bit,
but acceptance of these is essential if we are to
clear all the blockages.
