This sounds something like the "integration" that I favour. I must say I
tend to see it in psychological terms, whereby the ego fuses with the
larger Self, i.e., the other archetypes, the unconscious, and so on. In
other words, the ego expands to include all the rest, or one's sense of
identity ceases to be limited to a set of thoughts about "who I am or
should be," which I suppose is the same thing. Essentially, I see this
as being equivalent to being relaxed about myself, which somehow doesn't
seem to be quite the same idea as the one we started with, i.e.,
"enlightenment." Whether this goes on to include the truly transcendent,
i.e., the Infinite, I am waiting to see! I have little idea what that
would be like, though, so how would I know when it has happened?
