Subject: [K-list] Ego/Who happens?

Namaste Brothers and Sisters,
I (Ego), believe that nothing is happening at all but
I don't 'know' that. You see I have a non-ocular
'I',problem. So our entire life plays out anyway
whatever we do. The problem we have is that we
identify with our actions and think we are
'doing',(the illusory Ego). So when things turn out
the way we want, we are happy and when they don't we
are sad.
We needn't have bothered worrying, for things would
have turned out that way anyway,( in retrospect this
is my experience). One may say that one 'really
tried', why bother? Your body/mind would have 'really
tried', anyway. I think that's the point of
'surrendering the fruits of action'.
We aren't the doer the Aham/Sakti/Saguna Brahman
is,(Aham, I am, is the cause of Sakti etc). The
suffusing of conscious awareness is the concept of
rising Sakti or Kundalini. Ultimately, She, Sakti or
'God with attributes', doesn't exist either, we have
to proceed beyond that concept. No Aham Brahmasmi
just Brahman. No Immanent God only Transcendent.
This is why we have to live in the 'Now'. Even wishing
to help in the coming 'Golden Age', etc is linear
thinking, involving planning and lack of surrender.
For 'Who' is it that wants to help??

never be accomplished while immersed in

Gunas,(modes of, active, dull and smooth or natural
state) as a play of temperaments pulling the strings
of dolls. This awareness must saturate every thought
word and deed. That is the Jnana(Knowledge) you need.
All else is Ajnana(Ignorance)." Swami, ibid ,p 39.
