Basic psyhology tell us ego is identity with self. To identify complety
with God you must loose your self. This is called moksa. In a sense you
both loose and integrate ego into Cosmic I forever. Your identification
as limited is no more. There is no I. You have merged. Are you humble
enough to want it.
