Having read your response today made me wonder, did you
see the above apology to you which l posted to the list on the day following
my original response to you? Perhaps l'm mistaken, but reading what you
posted today made me feel you had not. l can understand your
feeling that since your mail was off list, an off list response would have
been more appropriate. l honestly don't recall why l posted my response, in
that there has been so much activity related to this. When l read your letter
and saw words like anti-psychotic drugs and hallucinating it pushed some
buttons---it sounded dismissive--perhaps because these have different
meanings to me than to you. And so my response was motivated largely be
irritation, which l later regretted, and is why l did post an apology.
