I think this is a great question! I know it did me. I was so involved with
seeking first the Kingdom of God, that nothing else was as important.
But I have come to see that it was an important part of the whole process for
me -- finding God. If you don't seek and find, then you are like Dorothy
before going to Oz -- unappreciative of life, being alive and feeling dead,
depressed, and everyone is out to get you (being a victim). After visiting
the Great Oz, you find he is just a man -- could have been anyone we made a
God of to create ourself into a victim. We get to see that this Wizard is
just a man that came from another place, another time, (someone
different-separate from us) and we give him the power to do anything, and if
we don't do what he says, all hell breaks loose. When our faith (toto, the
dog) has us confront the Wizard-God (fears) to *raise the veil*, and we see
he isn't... he is just a man, just like you or me. And with merely a few
clicks of your heels/heals (change of perception IMO), you awaken to Truth.
I know my own search and finding Truth had the same results.
Could reading this Truth in a book, or seeing the movie, or hearing my own
words reach out and touch someone with Truth, to give them their own
appreciation and love of life once again, and be able to walk without fear?
I'm not sure. I know it didn't for me. And for people like that, I think
they do have to cut themselves off from all and seek ye first the Kingdom of
God.... to find their own Truth.

Yes! And I think with wonderful questions like these that you are
communicating to all here on the list, it is a good start. You will
probably receive all sorts of different perceptions to the whys.
> Is it a phase?
I think it is a phase. How can one truly communicate if they are in fear, or
do not know what it is to communicate? I know I can't. To me previously,
meditation was a form of listening and communing with the Divine within.
Once you discover that the divine within is also in everyone, and everywhere,
then your meditation turns into listening and communing with everyone. There
is no where, or no body, that God isn't. No one is special... we are all
equal.
> Is the communication on another level? Anybody?
I've went the route of non-communicating (verbally) to do the other
level-thing. What I discovered for myself is it is ridiculous, because we
ARE in a body and the body is a tool for communication, a way to use the
gifts, talents, and abilities you have been given. If you can't or don't
communicate and use these abilities in some way with the body, you will feel
the body no longer has a purpose, and will no longer be needed.
When I reached that point, I thought I may as well lay my body down to die.
So I did. Well, you can't do this and become pure spirit, if your body still
has a purpose. It was just an ego death -- letting go of more fears, or a
choice for rebirth into another body.
Thanks for your enlightening questions.
Love,
