HA!!! It's a well known fact that Orthodox Jewish Women are anything but second
class citizens.

I think you have us mixed up with someone else.

Orthodox Judaism looks very favorably on the career lady and insists on a
husband honoring his wife and discussing all decisions with her.

Adele, apparently you have problems with men. please don't project it on me.

In my house my wife is the absolute boss. And so am I.

This may sound paradoxical to you

I wonder if Mystress Angelique's female domination stance is a reaction to
abuse at the hands of men in the past, especially in childhood.

I've done a lot of councelling and found out that wife and child abuse are
rampant in the USA.

It is not so in the Orthodox Jewish family.

Women are considered above all as PEOPLE and a husband and wife are almost
always close friends and partners. If there is an unbalanced relationship in an
Orthodox Jewish marriage it is usually the wife who is the boss.

If any of the women here need to talk to someone about their inner conflicts
caused by abuse you can contct me on or off list. Off list contacts will be kept
strictly confidential.

I am very busy and it might take some time to answer but I try to answer as fast
as possible.

I'd rather not do this but I know from past experience the kind of anguish that
some women live with and the isolation they face because they can't open their
hearts to their friends and family.
