So if you feel you have to forgive, you are hurt.
What has been hurt ? Find out. Don't practice forgiveness.
It will lead you away from the source.

On the other hand, I have read that there is no way to escape anything.
Either you understand or you don't. Understanding comes to you, you can't do anything to understand. Understanding comes to you when the time is there, you don't have to think about it.

I learned not to try to understand anything.
Before I understood this, my mind was continously trying to understand J.Krishnamurti's puzzles.
In the end, after many many many years, I understood there is nothing to be understood. Let your mind do what it wants to do, it's not up to you, you can't change it, you can only create conclict. Don't interfere.

Wise teachers have said :
"Listen to what is said and forget about it"

This makes life very simple indeed.
