The use of these drugs gives some people the excuse to "loosen up" and
explore themselves and the people around them. Many times Ego and social
constarints inhibit people from saying and doing what they feel is the truth.
 Drugs, because they "alter" your perseption, can be "blamed" for what people
do under their influence. It seems to me in some degree that people may be
ashamed or afraid of the "truth" which lies inside themselves and for that
reason act stupid or outrageous under their influence...like they can't
handle themselves. For me they have helped me understand K and other such
things....as I'm sure other users here on the list have experienced also.
But then too, as I have found out from being on this list, we are apparently
not exactly the "same" as the people around us...which explains why we can
handle ourselves and use the drugs for their intended purpose.

Why do we balck-list them so much? Many reasons...like i saw someone else
comment- Mother Goose caring for her children. That's a good reason. I
swear goverment wants nothing to be held personably y its citizens. They
allow people to consume large quantities of alcohol which is notorious for
creating loud, obnoxious users in the safe haven of clubs...yet cannabis and
others are prohibited? I mean how many pot smokers do you know that have
peed on cars, gotten into bar fights and driven too? Go figure. What I
choose to place into my body for what reason is my choice as long as I don't
infringe on another person. Granted I do not agree with people doing all
types of drugs such as heroine and stuff it is inheritly the user's choice.
To each his own, but that is not to be confused with apathy towards a fellow
man. If I were to see a friend abuse their drug of choice and hurt
themselves or almost hurt another then by all means step in. harm is not the
desired effect of course.

Is this all warped?
