Yes, I've heard and read some on the issue of body/cellular memory. I know
from personal experience that this is a real phenomenon. My beef is the
mtDNA angle - how in the world could one associate ancestreal trauma
memeories to one specific, secondary gene sequence? A quick search on the
internet (or a phone call to my published Biochemist PhD friend) shoots down
the mtDNA theory, in particular, the idea that we inherit trauma from
grandmothers. mtDNA is viewed scientifically as a primative cellular object,
perhaps a throwback to our most early days as bacterial ooze, while necessary
to producing cellular energy, by no means THE cellular blueprint to
consciousness.

AMAZINGLY Jews have common traceable genes back 2000 years - is neither
AMAZING or UNUSUAL. We all have genes that ultimately trace back to Africa
ages ago, and considering that up until this century, it was social death to
marry outside one's religion (particularly Judaism), it tends to lead to
slower diversification of the gene pool. I say, Duh.
