Chris, have you ever read any thing on child psychological development? The
fine works of Drs. Burton White, T. Barry Brazelton, Penelope Leach, William
Sears? Not to forget Piaget?

Neither of my children went thru "Terrible Twos". And altho some of that can
be chalked up to genetic temperment, that is not the whole story.

I can't help but wonder what your preoccupation with defining mental,
spiritual and emotional well-being (or specifically, the lack thereof) as
solely genetics-based.
