Maybe this can help to shed some more light on the intrigueing issue of sex &
spirituality & kundalini...
In my experience, kundalini, once she's become dynamic ("uncoiled") and
isn't static any longer, wants to move upward through the chakras to the top
of the brain. The sex drive usually takes the somewhat opposite direction,
focussing the consciousness in the lower chakras, so there might seem to be
something of a conflict of interest there. On the other hand, I believe it's
perfectly true that the sex drive is only another manifestation of the
kundalini itself, so it's probably best not to worry too much about all this
stuff and just let whatever wants to happen happen. When consciousness isn't
so interested in sex any longer, it just becomes easier for kundalini to go
upstairs to rock'n roll with Shiva.
What usually happens during "normal" sex is that energy concentrates and
accelerates in the lower chakras and is then forcefully ejected at orgasm -
if you're in tune with your partner - your energy goes into your partners
system and vice-versa. If you now prevent the energy from leaving the lower
chakras and avoid letting it die down AND the pathway is clear upward to the
higher centers, it can travel upward if your consciousness leads it there.
Then the orgasm can happen in the other chakras and in the brain as well...
Unfortunately I've only experienced this type of sexual release once, but I
guarantee that it's not something one is likely to forget...
I think the traditional Indian and Chinese view of equalling loss of semen
with certain blindness, affliction and guaranteed death at a young age is
somewhat paranoid but throughout history in many cultures, it's been the
perfect tool for controlling people through guilt - (just check out the
catholic church...) . On the other hand, it is true also, that the energy
contained in a teaspoon of seminal liquid is enough to start a whole
population, so maybe it really is a worthwhile idea at times to not just
casually squirt it about...?
