And in some cases they get paid for doing that, too. I wonder where all
these people come from, and what motivates them. I think the teachings of
Zen are a good antidote against these false guidelines.

This is what I myself have also pondered... Since these experiences seem
to be little more than "tripping" on meditation instead of psychedlic
drugs, and the talents are basically occultism, which is not (IHMO)
compatible with more evolved religious ideas. Personally, my feelings of
awareness and bliss aren't accompanied by any extraordinary visions. I do
have some visuals when I'm in a trance, but I don't see any special value
in them... it's bit like spiritual kitsch, really.

But it's still kundalini, and it can/will take another direction later...
One really can't expect everyone to attain any kind of realization during
the initial period...

And nobody will care. People want gods, demons, angels and occult
experiences. I wonder what kind of K experience would be suitable
for Hollywood.
Technical question:
I know these posts are archived, but are they reachable by altavista/other
search engines? I really don't like the idea of having to take an
anonymous identity. If they are reachable, it would be nice to be able to
put some text somewhere in the body/header/subject that would prevent
archiving... Maybe I'm paranoid, but I still have to get a job and the
employers in Finland browse the net actively :-).
