Hillary and List,

Could some of you explain the difference or relationship between entities
and those who are simply hanging around after death? I have absolutely no
experience with the kinds of entities being described, those which seem to
get involved with one on a rather personal and sometimes threatening level,
or appear in meditation, etc. I also have never experienced "guides", or
angels, any of those things many on the list seem to have common experience
of. On the other hand, I frequently "see" or hear from people who have
died, especially those who are hanging around in old homes. Usually the
sense of a particular human identity is pretty clear, although sometimes
the experience seems to blur between what I think of as "ghosts" and what I
read being described here--for example, there was "something" inhabiting a
house I recently moved into, and it felt more like a kind of emotional
density, fear and conflict, than a person (although it did have gender, I
felt it as female).

I would like to hear how these things differ. Also, do you experience
entities mostly in meditation, in sleep, or in normal waking conciousness?
