Hi Jerry and list,
An excellent source of information on entities that I have come across
is a book called Remarkable Healing by Dr. Modi. I've been looking for
it around my apartment, but I can't locate it right now. (damn entities
probably took it! hee hee :-)
A brief synopsis:
Dr. Modi is a psychiatrist who wasn't satisfied with the results of
traditional treatment on her patients. She tries hypnosis and asks
patients to go the source of their problem. Her patients' sources range
from present life trauma, prenatal issues, past lives, possession by
"ghosts," possession by entities and dark devices, other people's soul
parts with you, your soul part in possession of entities or with another
person.
She learned that to make her patients better, she had to treat the
possessing spirits and soul fragments as patients, too. She describes
the process she used to provide healing.
She also offers a great protection prayer that can be used on your own
and prevent reattachment of foreign spirits.
As a resource, it provides enough background information and practical
self-help that can be useful. I'm the type of person who prefers to be
as self-sufficient as possible when it comes to my spirituality, so it
was perfect for me.
How can you tell if you are possessed? Someone I know suggested this: If
you react in ways that are out of character to your regular response, it
is likely you have some visitors.
Here's an example: One day I found out that a guy I was interested in
was involved with someone else. Normally, I would have been a little
disappointed, but I became very upset. I couldn't concentrate on my work
and started getting depressed over this. This was ridiculous because I
had only exchanged words with the guy once. My friend asked if I had
contact with my ex recently. Yup. He was in town. He suggested that I
might have some openings around my aura which allowed his energy to
attach to me. So I used the techniques from Dr. Modi to ask myself to be
cleared of all foreign energy and then I asked my angels to clear out
those parts of my ex, return them to him and reintegrate them into him.
I felt much better immediately.
