Hi Keshara, fascinating post. And thank you Dharma, for the chart... that

Below is an improvised expansion on what I wrote earlier, when time
permits. I'm not a professional astrologer, I get into it via the
higher-level associations. Anyway, here goes...

Yeah, they get a bad press for being rambunctious and party-poopers,
respectively. :) Also (from Sharon's post) Saturn is associated with the
bone structure. Dem bones.... The planet is karmic, dealing with the linear
perception of time, and history. Mars is a blood stirrer...

Another thing that seems to occur with Uranus transits is their sudden
onset: Uranus transits seem to just "switch on", and they have been used to
give accurate birth time information to some astrologers for clients. You
know it when Uranus kicks in, it's not gradual by nature! I reckon the
breathing hiatus mentioned in other posts would be a Saturn/fear expression
which Uranus kicks off -- he's a catalyst. I'm going to be encouraging
people I know to "keep breathing" and release stresses (esp through hatha
yoga) as and when they appear... They may want to keep a weather eye on
their nervous system's behaviour too... :)
Might be of note that Uranus is retrograde which will add an additional
element of static, possible deja vu during the event and other more
interesting flashes of precognition or sudden insight, hand in hand with
some surprise... :) Wonder if there'll be echoes/resonances with other
times in the events, in partnership with Saturn? (just read Mystress' post
re: planetary stuff, and it felt about right: Genghis Khan's hordes riding
into the syncopated day, slave ships gliding through radar
installations...) Definitely a karmic exciter here. Uranus understands
instant, non-local events, and manifests them, which leads to a learning of
quantum inseparability and multi-dimensional slips. :) So be it.
Overall, I think there's going to be a fair bit of strenuous energy around,
trying to express itself through force, stubbornness, old disfunctional
patterns, fear and sudden, perhaps violent, change, release of pressure.
And probably not doing that too well either until it gets some awareness
(coz being squares and oppositions, the internal psyche is divisive too).
Touch of "let all the evils that lurk in the mud hatch out" (King Lear). A
need to feel the urge and let it go, to see the broader picture. Saturn
appears to demand contraction, but expansion follows the passage of fear.
And perhaps the karma gets cleared quickly in this process, as opposites
resolve...? :)
T-squares produce a lot of

<grin> Self/Father and Personality/Mother up against an identity-iconoclast
retrograde... it won't be gentle, will probably be temporarilly
disorientating and there won't be the steady comfort of consensual belief
system to cling to. You're gonna need a new church, padre... :)
I want to bring in Pluto here. Pluto in Sagittarius (sign of the higher
mind and teacher) also happens to be retrograde, which means covering the
same learning ground deeply and inexorably, so the thus far multi-streamed
teachings of the Pluto transit in Sag will be "sticky", like having to
endure another lesson in something you were hoping to move on from. :)
However, Sagittarius is an ever-optimistic, future-oriented sign, and the
lesson will point to new possibilities, expanded awareness.
The Plutonian energies in Sag have been a lot more colourful than those
that occurred in Scorpio. They're also busier coz Sag works in a rainbow of
information streams at once, in my and others' experience. But they're
still deep deep deep, and don't expect to be taking sips of knowledge, it's
more like ambling about in a waterfall. I believe there's a Chiron (the
wounded healer) aspect to Pluto in Sagittarius (the Centaur), since Chiron
was the wise Centaur poisoned by an arrow, who became a great healer
through living in constant pain from his own wound. And Pluto deals in
fundamental, unstoppable transformations... :)
That's why I think Pluto is a behind the scenes player in this phase of
karmic clearing. The sex/death dimension, and under-World connotations are
classic Plutonian, in his inital (pre-phoenix) phase.
Might be worth bearing in mind too that Neptune is also retrograde: there
may be a temptation/tendency to wish rather than will. Might be advisable
to ground one's ideas and hopes in the Taurus Saturn (he's not retrograde,
so you can use him straightforwardly) and test your dreams against the
doings of the Grand Cross and the stable energy of a Venus-ruled
earth-signed Saturn reality-check. Remember to see the kind smile beneath
the stern eyes of Saturn...
Just to add spice to that, there's a T-square between Neptune, Jupiter and
Mercury on the 11th Aug, with Jupiter at the apex, which leaves Mercury and
Neptune misunderstanding each other over sense impressions and the
ego-dissolving intimations of spiritual union. Might be an idea to tread
lightly here on that day...

With Pluto holding his transformative energies in retrograde, the

Imho, The paranoia ties in with all questions of DN, faith, "good vs evil",
and of fear of a shattering/giving up of the persona and strongly held
beliefs of identity, Saturn/Sun/Moon/Uranus, and Mars as the antagonist
pushing us through... But we have a whole belly laugh of realisation to
come, reborn, indivisible and loving...

Yes, that's what I understand too. The flare period is long-ish, and we'll
get that for a while. I also recall vaguely that there should/ will be
another Leonid shower, either September or November: anyone know if that's
right? (busy, busy...) :)
