Another long one from me... :)
No-one I know who's sensitive has mentioned the feelings of which you speak
lately, though that's not dissing. I have seen people with heavy duty
internal problems beginning to get their chickens coming home to roost,
lately... or facing their fears and mending for the first time in their
life :)) (-- But that might just be life, and I'm noticing this more than
usual :)
Here's some astro info...
There is also a Grand Cross coming a few days after the Eclipse. Sun in
Leo, Mars in Scorpio, Uranus in Aquarius, Saturn in Taurus. Haven't got the
exacts on me right now (Dharma? :). As I understand it, Sun and Uranus are
in their ruling signs, Mars is in an empowering sign for him, and the four
signs are "fixed" type, pointing (among other things) to ingrained patterns
in the psyche, often from past lives. The Cross is four squares (tension
and frictions between the four planetary energies) and two oppositions
(tug-o-war between the Saturn/Mars and Sun/Uranus energies). The Cross
promises to be *particularly* powerful for these reasons, and though the
exact configuration won't last more than a day or so, the effect for some
days before and after will definitely be felt. The Eclipse as a curtain
raiser to this is something I'm going to monitor with interest. I think it
will empower the process, with an energy that will feel rare and strong.
One of Saturn's strongest initial manifestations is as a sense/experience
of fear. It constricts, depresses, prohibits, inhibits and makes more dense
the flow of the Self. In so doing it seasons and tests the individual,
until the lessons are learned and the Sun of the Self breaks through (this
is the standard finger-wagging view of Saturn, though Saturn has a fine
sense of humour too, once one overcomes the fear response). Mars represents
a more forceful energy, a shorter burst of assertiveness versus the longer
wave of Saturn's "stickability". Their opposition may cause some serious
doubts in people, a sense of stop/go and frustration that could be willful
and sometimes explosive as they are placed in such willful (stubborn)
signs. Belief systems and old old patterns too are going to be at
loggerheads. Paradigm shift time?
The energies of the Sun (the expression of Selfhood) and Uranus (the higher
mind and individualising structure breaker) are in opposition in their own
signs, which may bring up see-saw issues of where one's priority and needs
lie: to oneself or to humanity as a whole, and how to reconcile the needs
of each? These two opposing sets of energies will be cutting across each
other via the squares, So I reckon there's going to be some heavy
soul-searching going on. :)
Add to this any transits these planets make to individuals' own planetary
positions, and it gets busy busy busy. Difficult fixed sign aspects in an
individual's chart (squares and oppositions especially, which usually
denote personal ingrained karmic patterns) will be affected by the Grand
Cross if their positions come under the Cross. So whatever is coming down
for all of us it going to be particularly poignant for those people in
their karmic pattern areas.
The opposing signs (Leo/Aquarius and Taurus/Scorpio) each contain the seed
of their opposite sign within them, for instance the deep willfulness of
Scorpio is contained within the inner psyche of Taurus, and the calm
stability of Taurus is contained within the depths of Scorpio. The
humanity-oriented energies of Aquarius is seeded in the sign of Leo, and
the Self-centredness confidence of Leo is a less obvious trait of Aquarius.
I'm sure Dharma can give you much more information about this. I can get
you timings if you want.
Best I can do for now. I haven't tuned in further on this coming Grand
Cross as yet.

Storms in space 'may cause heart attacks'

RUSSIAN space scientists this week linked interplanetary shockwaves to
increases in heart attacks and car accidents.
Also they warned that the next onslaught is due, because the Sun is nearing
the peak of its 11-year cycle of activity. Turbulent magnetic fields will
spike its surface with sunspots and give rise to bursts of energy, sending
writhing balls of plasma into space.
The resulting magnetic storms can interfere with radio, television and
telephone signals, damage satellites and disrupt satellite communications.
The International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics conference in Birmingham
was told on Tuesday that there may also be a link between space weather and
human health.
Prof Lev Dorman, formerly a researcher in Moscow and now head of the Israel
Cosmic Ray Centre, Tel Aviv, said: "We urgently need to organise global
research for 2000."
Prof Dorman's group worked with statistics from the seven million call-outs
the Russian ambulance service deals with each year, analysing data from the
last solar maximum - when the earth is struck by up to three solar wind
shockwaves a month.
In the days following each event, call-outs for heart attacks, strokes and
fatal car accidents each increased by 15 per cent. Shockwave impacts cause
the Earth's magnetic field to "ring like a bell" and it is thought this may
affect the body.
