Hi Amanda,
I was very surprised when I read your reply to my son´s story.
I am wondering what triggered you and made you so emotional and feeling
uneasy?
I never said that one language is better than another and in the case of
German: I loved it when I was in highschool, it was very easy for me to
learn, so I choose it as my favourite foreign language for my exam! (maybe
because my mother´s grand-grand-grand-grandfather (don´t know how many
generations ago) came from Germany?
I just wrote about my son´s experiences and what it did to him.
Some months ago there was a program on the radio about children and young
people living now who have fears and memories of events from W.W.II.
It was also about the very short time between W.W.II and the birth of these
children.
One of the ideas was, that these souls decided to come back so soon, because
in this time there are many possibilities available to heal and to release
the fear, the anger and the pain from the past.
That sounds very reasonable to me, since it is very necessary to make
contact with the destructiveness within and outside ourselves, so that it
can be brought into the light.
Isn´t that one of the things that our K. is also about? Seeing our anger and
emotional responses and searching for their root: the pain, so that we can
be real transformers?
