Dear Lisa,
I was one of those people that saw myself change in front of a mirror.
I have also seen other people change while I was talking with them. My son
also experienced it on his own, without me even mentioning it to him. He
walked by a mirror and saw himself change into an african american grown man
(he was ten at the time), this shocked him for a second but then he turned
back into his current image. He told me about it, under the title of Wow
Mom! I explained what I thought it was and he accepted it as Cool.
As a child I did this often, not even knowing what it meant. Later in life
when I mentioned to my older brother that I saw him change into a woman with
long dark hair (he had short drk hair and a mustache and beard!) he said
that he had often felt that in his last life he was a woman! That blew me
away, I had never thought that that is what I was seeing. I went to the
library and found out that many ancient egyptian judges and seerers used to
do this on purpose to find out what sort of person they were dealing with
figuring that they could be helped by seeing who they were in their past
lives.
The experience is a little hard to explain. One day I was brushing my
hair in the mirror and my image changed. Just like that! Like a click of a
switch. I, a fair skinned, auburned haired, green eyed woman, changed into
a olive skinned, dark eyed and haired woman. With it came a memory of being
out in the blowing sand of the desert, and trying to get the tangles out of
my hair. Sort of like you having a childhood memory triggered by similar
circumstances in your life. The changed image is very clear as if the
person really looked like that...and they do! The experience only lasted a
few seconds at a time. There were times when there was a bluring first and
then a change but most of the time it was just changed quickly. I hope this
