Dear Cathy,
Welcome to the list. I am also a Reiki healer and am also in a
relationship that has deep soul connections that seem to have nothing to do
with who he is in this life as well as who I am. I have tried to detach
myself from him in the past, as he was not all that healthy. I did it and
was perfectly happy with the way it was but he ended up coming back into my
life and I accepted him once again but because of fear, backed off even
though I did not really want to. I always told him laughingly that my soul
loved him wether the rest of me wanted to or not, this was very true.
I was very sad and went thru deep grief and depression afterwards for a
couple of weeks or so. I then accepted my grief and let it in and I
accepted that what ever was happening was something that I had to go thru.
I then felt very peacefull and let him go emotionally and physcially. I
just gave it all up to the universe because I realized I had not the right
to hold on to something. The only thing is that he didn't let me go, he
tried and couldn't. I and he are now together and the difference is that I
accept the fact that everything on this earth, including the him-me
relationship is impermanent. Things come and go in our lifes and there is
no reason for attachement because everything has its time to be and then it
is gone or changed. You and your love are living in a state of fear of
losing each other. Well that happens! All the time on the physical plane
but maybe not the spiritual and a real relationship goes beyond the
physical.
So my message to you is...the old adage, let it go and if it loves you it
will return. But there is no need for pain or obsession. You can have
great cosmic orgasms with or without thinking about him, that is a common
symptom of K rising. Just because he stirred yours up again, does not mean
that he owns it and it will go away when he stops thinking about you or you,
him.
Love itself is what has cued your K to shine brighter, not him or your
guru.
I think that this is the reason that when my k is powerfull, that I will
fall in love with something so small as a misquito hawk. But even if you
don't listen to this message, K awakening will not let you stay the same and
you will realize this all on your own as you evolve. It is the wanting to
hold to on to things, remaining attached to the non permanent, which is a
form of greed, lust, and power, that causes you pain. This is an old
Jainism statement, and Jnana yoga is part of my path which is why I know it.
Either way, acceptance is the key as well as love...Much love, Julie
