First of all, welcome to the list!

Well, I share some of this, as falling in love can definitely bring on K!
:))) But I have also found that love does not have to be reciprocated to be
meaningful--that it is simply enough to love, and that it is LOVE itself that
you are feeling in your body--that your friend's involvement is really not
all that important. There is also a fear that once this love disappears,
that the LOVE will. Of course not! It is always with you--you won't lose
it. It just may not always be so apparent.
