So late in reply!
Cranial Sacral, what little I know of it, involves balancing the "pulse" of
spinal fluids by use of gentle pressure on key points on the body.
Evidently, the 2 sides of the body can "pulse" at different rates, and this
modality strives to bring them into rhythm. I'm sorry to say I don't know
more!
I've had Cranial Sacral done once on me, and it was quiet a pleasant
experience! I could feel, much like an oscilloscope, the waves and swings of
energy back and forth laterally across different parts of my body. When the
points at my temples were done, I could literally see the energy waving back
and forth across as it came into even tempo. Now, this was before Cranial
Sacral was briefly explained to me. As I said in my original post, my sister
has taken this up. So, having it done on me w/o knowing what to expect was
not a threatening thing. Her Reiki kicked in too. Afterwards, I felt very
relaxed, alert and balanced.
I've searched a bit, as time allows, for more info on the web, but haven't
had much luck locating a good FAQ or description.
Kind Regards,
Melissa
