Dear Christopher,

Just would like to remind you where the term Kundalini actually was derived
from. Kundalini is, according to Hindu philosophy, where the term Kundalini
actually originates from, an aspect of the Shakti energy. Shakti being the
female, active energy and according to them Shakti is the Mother.

Kundalini is said to be the coiled energy in form of a serpent that is
laying dormant at the base of the spine. Once she is awakened, she is
travelling upwards along the channel within the spine (called shushumna)
where she will pierce all the chakras (or wheels of energy) located along
that channel on her way up to Shiva the static, male energy, located in the
crown chakra, where the two energies will meet in union. This seems to me
more like the energy of the void: The two having met and become One.
