Hello, anantananda,
My experience of this, for what it's worth, involves a sense of racial
"soul". It incorporates karma, but the tenor of it seems to be: imagine
several pieces of music, or paintings, each by a different artist. The
quality in each work reflects not just the message of the piece but also
the whole Gestalt (the sum of experience and awareness of that experience)
of the the artist. They put themSelves into it.
For me, racial soul is like that, and there seems to be a purpose behind
the ?genetic?/?cultural? wave that constitutes a race. Each race may regard
or perhaps judge another race by its own worldview, but the purpose behind
each race is a gift to all. All races bring something to the planet, of a
soul lesson or an intelligence of some sort.
Seems to me that in enacting their purpose, a race may take on karma, act
it out, and generate karmic responses in other races. For me the nature of
the interaction is more telling about a race's soul than the action. What
does a race teach? What does it learn? What are the experiences behind the
limitations of a particular cultural/racial worldview? What energies does a
race incarnate/celebrate?
How does that fit with others' experience, y'all?
