Hi Melissa,

I read your post in which you say that you want to learn more about the
energy-meridians etc.
Since I have a book-advising-day today maybe the next book is something for
you?

A spiritual teacher advised me to read the book: “The Touch of Healing-
Energizing Body, Mind and Spirit with the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu” by Alice
Burmeister ( published by arrangement with Bantam Books, New York /1997).
He works with it himself and he said it´s also very good for K.-people to
use, because it works on that level too.
It´s an old Japanese healing-method and very practical.
It works with un-blocking points in the energy-system. It´s not real
acupressure but it lookes a bit like that. There are also finger- foot- and
handpositions and mudra´s in it.

I bought it some weeks ago and I gave an advise to a friend who had a sore
foot for weeks. I gave her the position for sore left foot (you have to
place some fingers on the wrist of your left arm) and in less than 5 minutes
her pain had gone and she could walk for hours!

I saw there´s also a handposition for people with CFS. I haven´t had the
time to try this out but maybe other persons on this list are practising Jin
Shin Jyutsu?
I really would like to hear your comments!

I looked at Alta Vista and searched for +Jin Shin Jyutsu and there´s a lot
of information to be found, also places where you can follow classes.

Melissa, I know you are looking for Chinese methods and this is Japanese,
but it came in my mind to write you about this, so maybe it's a part of the
flow?....
