A very wise friend once shared this with me and I wanted to share it with
you. I have been enjoying a lot of what I am learning from all of your
mail. It is nice to know we are not alone with our symptoms and thoughts.
Actually, I have been diagnosed with Lyme Disease. At first they thought is
was stress, depression, fibromyalgia, and a slew of other things.. But it
turned out to be lyme. I have to say though, this all happened right after
a spiritual awakening, dark night of the soul and the discovery that I have
psychic abilities. I have felt all along that much of what I am going
through is because of the ascension process or kundalini awakening. Muscle
aches, lightheadedness, spaciness, inability to concentrate, headaches,
fatigue. Change in eating habits, likes and dislikes, etc... The list goes
on. I am sure that the change in vibrations that many of us are going
through are just that. Not to say I don't have the disease. All the
testing shows that I do. However, there is something going on at a much
deeper level at the same time. The physical problems are just
manifestations of what the spirit is experiencing. Any thoughts?
Yes! I totally agree with you. I was diagnosed with SLE (lupus) years
ago. However, it may look like lupus on my blood tests for ANA (ect.), my
lupus is very connected to my spiritual changes. It was triggered when the
energy was really almost violently hard on me for several months without a
break. My K never naps. Two years ago my lupus went into complete
remission. In fact, my blood work showed absolutely no ANA or antibodies of
any type. That usually doesn't happen...your ANA goes way down in a
remission, but it still registers as a disease. I have a medical anomaly.
Periodic episodes of SLE that disapear after the energy problem works itself
out. My doctors are confused. When I'm sick, it is severe. I get the
worst kinds of lupus, CNS, vasculitus, and you name it. Funny thing is that
I can be at deaths door one day and three days later be like the bionic
woman...not just healthy,but superior strength, vigor, ...everything! To
me, it doesn't really feel like a real lupus, regardless of what the lab
tests show. It has everything to do with what is going on with me
spiritually. Sometimes I eat hurricanes for weeks on end. That would kill
anyone!
Does anyone else out there feel their disease is more like an energetic
problems working themselves out? My body just goes through one and then I
come out of it stronger than I was before. My K was a spontaneous
awakening....i had no idea of what it was for a long time. I hadn't even
heard of kundalini. I have always been deeply spiritual and mystical, but
I never meditated or practiced any kind of energy work. I still don't. I
just pray in my own way....it wouldn't look like prayer to most people, but
I just commune with God in the way that is natural for me. Even all through
childhood. Maybe that is why my K went into actual illness at times... I
didn't know what to do with the energy. I just let it do its thing. I find
that it always knows where to go and what to do.

And for the person who wrote in the following:

I know what it is. I want nothing. I accept what I get. Do I have any
choice !!!"
Prayer is also a mingling with your own higher self. Your God, your source,
the universe. however you want to look at it. It is a wonderful feeling to
say a prayer for yourself or for another person and just release that prayer
to the universe with faith.
I think that was well expressed, Loraine.
I see prayer as communing with God and the universe....connecting or going
into the ALL..I think in terms of prayer as being One with God. My term for
prayer encompasses what is termed meditation, at least as I understand it.
Prayer is my only practice.
