Hi Marky! Hi everyonekins! Loves ya .. Hmmm .. let me see ..

Well to me the brain is just a lump of flesh. It is thinking by virtue of
consciousness.

What is subonscious is that which we have hidden from view so we can function
not facing too much pain all at once, or too much information.

The unconscious I get the impression from Jung, is that which is the Source of
All - non dual Being. It as the source of all is collective as well as
individual mind. As the sum total it is Cosmic Mind (no brain required) yet for
us individuals who are to become aware of our Cosmic status, the brain plays a
very important role. It is said that total brain functioning is enlightenment.
So we are to awaken its full potential.

All matter is animated by consciousness. Some say even inanimate matter exists
by virtue of consciousness - God is everywhere in all things. Anything that
exists has consciousness as its basis.

I guess I see consciousness as God Being. At the individual level, this is God
pretending to be separate for teh experience of duality and all that play of
opposites which enable one to experience such Tasties as .. rapture, ecstasy and
union.
(Not to mention the opposites too which are uncomfortable to say the least!)
