Nancy, I believe, stated that we do NOT cause synchronicities, and
someone else wondered if the 'thought' somehow attracts the
synchronicities.... sorry I dont have the posts available, I have been
skimming and deleting email cause I cant sit still long enough to get
much from it... but I do want to add my personal observations to this
string,
In highschool I lived in an area that was as yet undeveloped, on a hill,
with roads built mostly for logging trucks... skinny and dangerous!! Our
schoolbus barely could squeeze thru some of the tight turns and steep
hills - one winter morning as we turned a sharp we hit a patch of ice
at the top of a steep hill patchy with black ice top to bottom, the
bottom being a sharp turn onto a single lane bridge which crossed a
waterfalll.
The front of the bus first went nose first into the steep bank on one
side of the road, the impact sending us backwards as the rear of the bus
hit a tree on the opposite side, preventing us from going over the steep
cliff on the other side of the road, but then the front of the bus began
slipping on the ice and we continued hitting the bank then the trees all
the way to the bottom, around and around and around, claear to the
bottom... where we finally hit a watershed at the top of the waterfall -
the impact layed the walls of the shed flat but the pipes inside held
their ground, we climbed out the side windows because the doors of the
bus were just feet from the edge of the waterfall........
whew... that was long..
that was back in 1968... so I have had many years to observe the effects
of this incident on MYself.
I have 'feelings' not visions, just feelings, of panic about busses. And
when I feel this way I have come to expect to hear of a bus wreck....
again and again this happens.
I think it is my FEAR left over from the accident many years ago that
keeps me tuned into the busses.
I do not cause these accidents. But I know when 'some' are about to
happen.
Maybe it isnt synchroncities... maybe its just intuition... but the
'feeling' over the years has gotten closer to the time of the wrecks...
So, these are the thoughts yesterday, of synch v/s intuition and
then....
last evening, my daughter and granddaughter were headed out for bannana
splits, I was walking them to the car... and a neighbor stopped to
chat...
out of nowhere I got an icky feeling and told my daughter to please not
go... something didnt feel right, she humored me and we walked to the
7-11 for slurpies instead.
2 hours latter the neighbor knocks on the door to let us know that she
was in an accident just minutes after she left, totaled her car, at the
intersection of Denneys where WE were gonna go to get bannana splits.
It is an interestng drama... life. I really like it, I think its a safe
bet that I'll be comming back again. : )
