from you questions it seems that you really want to know if reiki
could take you faster along your path.
I can only repeat that reiki is helping me.
It is not just the atunment, a good reiki master will give you home work
ie meditations that will help energise you and clear the channel
through the chakras along the lines of the Micro cosmic orbit, Cosmic
cross, mandella (sacred symbols) are also used under your chair when
meditating which seems to intensify the movement of Kundalini.
A good master will also help you clear out the debris from life that
is trapped in your chakras.
Distant atunment may be possible but not in my opinion a good idea as
the necessary support/training is lacking.
I agree with you that you can divert the driver (Kundalini Shakti)
but why do this???
I would sugest that you get a book on Reiki by William Rand and make
up your mind from that.
I was told by Guruji that Kundalini would take you home in this or
the next life time also that we had been accepted by God ( those with
K awakened and others too I am sure) so we are indeed blessed and
that is all that is really important.
Regarding intention to love unconditionally I am not there yet as my
actions do not allways mirror my intention but Shakespear said
"Asume a virtue and its yours" so in the fullness of time perhaps!!
