One nice break is from a debate I'm losing interest in.
The second nice break is that tree season is over! And that means something rewarding for a fraction of us allergy sufferers.
I think this past season was the worst one for me, but as I'm looking back on it, this might be suspicious. I have to note first that I never saw a doctor during this season, only because I switched jobs and haven't yet found the time or the peace and quiet or the energy and will to fill out paperwork for health care coverage and stuff. Yawn.
Here's what's different from other seasons past: There have been days where I've felt my face not really swell, but it feels like it's flushing red (I guess that's how you would describe cartoon characters whose faces are about let off steam). It didn't matter what I put down my throat - I was taking echinacea for a couple of weeks to get clear sinuses and my voice back quicker - it would still come and go. . . and I felt stupid that I should have had a visit with doc. . .
It's been a week now that this has all stopped. But with it, something interesting happened also. I've been getting up earlier with more energy, getting work earlier than usual this week. I don't think it seems like a coincidence, after I read a couple of other posts talking about similar stuff; about how some have felt tired for a while because of "k" adjustments and stuff. . . then they come out of it feeling better.
I can probably make that conclusion too, for this particular experience; as far as fatigue and tiredness goes, I hit rock bottom about three weeks ago. And for some reason, all circuits went to work, flushing out all sorts stuff causing the problems of the past few months - physical problems, that is. And I just hope that if this is true "k" adjusting, then next year will be an allergy-free one for me. I have nothing to worry about - even on the days I felt the worst, I never ever ever ran a fever.
But to be prepared for the next jolt, does anyone have suggestions on how I can be less sensitized to this? Of course, I want it to do its work, but I don't want to have to be notified of it this way again!
And the third break - mine alone - was that a few of the voices have been cooperative for the first time (ever), being increasingly nicer and more supportive of me as today wore on. . . but we're far from the day when I can consider myself normal again. . .
If anyone has had a cool break because of recent "k" adjustments, please share.
- Hudson (i.e. Torch, so called because my head is now burning)
