Back to definitions - life force is "that momentum which changes our ability
to grow, reproduce and respond to stimuli"
electromagnetic waves do that - they are life force
scalar energy does that - it is life force
kundalini does that - She is life force
thoughts do that - they are life force
I prefer to see our environment and everything in it be considered life
force because it contributes to and helps maintain life.

The word "Controlling" conjures up for me an image of "imposing will
over". In this sense no, I don't believe She can be controlled from within.
However my experiences lead me to understand that She will adjust to,
accomodate, comply with, assist and work with us.
Do ye thin' She be not energy?
Energy is what generates work. So She is definitely that. Force changes a
body at rest. She definitely does that.
The metaphor I have been given is that each of us, through the Divine spark,
are cells of God. Cells are continually evolving, reproducing and dying. The
unification of Shakti and Shiva in one respect is the realisation that we
are God's cells. We move beyond the duality of separateness to understand
the oneness with God and with each other.
