Thanks for reacting. The concept of scratches is based on a very high
philosophy of life. Its really unfortunate you have taken the meaning
literally to mean the scratch-in the physical sense to scratch your body
parts when itching. Here the scratch is used as a defence mechanism against
the EGO in one's life. EGO acts as an obstacle and mental block in
spiritual development. One must assume a position he knows very very little
and many a time is ignorant of truth of life. Then only he improves.
Probably you must of heard of 'ZERO EGONESS STATE" which means the highest
of Spiritual achievement "Self Realisation" according to Ramana Maharshi, a
great Indian Saint.
